Combating deforestation

We are advocates of sustainable animal nutrition; we encourage farmers to graze their animals and avoid animal feed additives, which contribute to deforestation.

Towards zero imported deforestation

We have signed up with the Duralim charter to contribute to the improvement of animal feed sustainability. As such, we encourage farmers to use dairy feed ranges that are palm oil-free or adhere to sustainable soya supply chains, with the aim of achieving zero imported deforestation by 2025.

We have also developed a range of cheeses made with certified GMO-free milk from grass-fed cows (<0.9%), with ProTerra soya certification guaranteeing non-deforestation.
