We believe that the quality of the milk starts with respect for the animal, and animal welfare is central to all our practices. Since 2015 we have been carrying out assessment on dairy farms and actively contribute to improving progress initiatives in the dairy sector.

Festiv Laïta 2025

Teams from different Laïta sites got together between September and November in the relaxed, friendly environment of Festiv’ Laïta.

These lively gatherings are an opportunity to share company news and talk about the various projects. The 2025 event focused on Laïta’s CSR initiative Passion du Lait® and our partners were on hand to showcase the collective commitment to sustainable and responsible practices.

Passion du Lait® Amont seminar

In autumn, Laïta’s Amont (upstream) teams from three shareholder cooperatives (Even, Terrena, and Eureden) met with others from the two producer organisations LNA and SILAV for discussions around the main topic - the Passion du Lait® CSR initiative.

A distinction for Laïta’s passion for sharing!

Laïta has once again achieved the Happy Trainees distinction issued by ChooseMyCompany.

The award highlights the commitment of our staff to welcoming, integrating and supporting interns and work-placement trainees. It’s also a reward for the work our teaching and mentoring staff do on a daily basis to share their know-how with care and enthusiasm.

A day of encounters with Carrefour

In mid-September, Hubert and Christophe - dairy farmers and Even members based in Plouarzel - welcomed 21 consumers at the 3rd Champ des Rencontres, an annual event organised by Carrefour in partnership with Paysan Breton.

This initiative is part of the Pacte Transition Alimentaire (Food Transition Pact), which aims to strengthen links between producers and consumers by promoting responsible, sustainable farming practices.

Laïta turns out for Odysséa 2025

On 14 September Brest was humming with the Odysséa vibe - the essential breast cancer charity event.

The 2025 event attracted record participation - 12,000 runners took part and €115,000 was raised for five local organisations committed to prevention, screening and patient support. 

Many Laïta employees got involved, some from Brest and some from other sites further afield, proudly representing the company and supporting this important cause.

Feedback on Laïta’s 2024 Job Tour from employees, local officials and applicants showed how closely the event can match talent with opportunity. With its openness to a wide range of profiles, insight into the industrial world and progress within the company, everyone sees it as a tangible way of learning, reinventing themselves and finding their niche at Laïta.
