Modernisation continues at Laïta’s analytical laboratory centre

Laïta’s dynamic drive continues unremitting. The dairy cooperative organisation will be unveiling their new central laboratory at the Ploudaniel site (29) on 12 June, a development representing an investment of 4.9 million euros. The new facility will handle the increasing number of analyses and improve working conditions for staff.

Laïta is proceeding with the modernisation programme of its analytical laboratory network across its three zones in western France. In 2017 a new laboratory was installed at the Créhen site in zone 22. Following this, zone 44 opened its new laboratory at the Ancenis site in 2022, and in March 2025 a new laboratory centre was inaugurated in zone 29 in Ploudaniel. Most of the workers from the old laboratories in Landerneau and Ploudaniel, a total of 59 members of staff, have now moved into their new premises after a 12-month construction period.
